It affords me the fulfillment of creating something wholly my own and representative of who I am in actuality. It has also allowed me to take stock of my thoughts and opinions, introspectively looking back.

Music has been a major part of my life going all the way back to my childhood. When I was a kid, the Massachusetts music scene provided me with a place I felt like I belonged. I learned to play guitar because I wanted to play in bands, instead of just watching. Making music for me is a way to escape and create something beautiful in a world of chaos.

Growing up I was constantly backstage at big country music festivals walking around, talking to musicians, watching road crews make the magic happen. I was enamored with the idea of writing music and performing so I knew from those early years I'd be up there on the stage one day.

I play music because it gives me the greatest sense of freedom I've ever known. Music brings me more joy than anything else in my life. Just hearing it makes me happy, and being able to play it and take part in the creative process means everything to me. Music isn't just somethin I do; it's what I give my whole self to.
